 Central Collection Unit


The Central Collection Unit's mission is to collect delinquent debts owed to the State of​ Maryland in the most cost-effective manner while employing the highest professional standards. CCU encourages you to pay off your debt in its entirety or contact us to make payment arrangements before your taxes are intercepted. Our call centers are open to assist you by calling 410-767-1220 or 1-888-248-0345.

Regarding our Baltimore office, Customers may now seek in person assistance.  For all CCU offices located in MVA locations, you must contact MVA to schedule an appointment and select Fix an Insurance Violation, under Vehicle and Titling Services.  

Please note, CCU appointments are for MVA related business only.  Appointments should only be made to discuss debts related to vehicle services or payment arrangements for MVA insurance lapse..​
